One major project that has been slowly getting done is raising up the cottages. They were built right on the dirt, so they have begun to deteriorate. First the guys have to dig all of the dirt out from under the cottage by hand. Then they raise up the cottage using several jacks. The cottages are then supported by several blocks. Here are some pictures of what it typically looks like while this process is happening.
