The Wildlife at Pinehurst

Our woods and grassy fields that cover our 23 acres
is home to many different kinds of animals. Most of
the busy summer months they shy away from all of our
guests but in the quiet of the spring and fall they
will come right up to the house/main office. Some of
the animals sited here are deer, foxes, owls, swans,
several different types of birds, groundhogs, skunks,
chipmunks, moles, rabbits, frogs, etc.
Here are some pictures of
the deer that spent most of the spring here.
This brown bunny grew up here at Pinehurst with many brothers and sisters. They are pretty tame, and will let you walk right up to them.
These woodchucks/groundhogs also grew up at pinehurst, they spend most of their days helping us keep the grass short :)
