It seemed like it was raining every other day this spring and summer. It didn't get in the way of too many visitors outings and enjoyment. We were lucky that it rained mostly at night. One thing the rain brought was an abundance of wild mushrooms. You could see them springing up at the base of trees and in the pine grove. We were informed that it has been a record year of people going to the local hospitals for eating the wrong type of wild mushroom.
